Okay, first off, Abby. You've done it, I'm addicted (for the moment) to Keri Hilson's Energy.
Otherwise. The past month and a half have been huge. The main thing that has happened is that I have moved into a new apartment in Castleton. My new apartment is 50 sq ft. bigger than my former residence in Broad Ripple and it costs me about $30 less a month on rent. Thus far, it has been much better here. The extra space is deeply appreciated as I now have more furniture and I even have room for a big new desk and an entertainment center. I finally have a BEDROOM and not just a glorified extension to the living room. Within the first few weeks I've purposefully broken off the bedroom door (a cheap bifold door that didn't open or close the entire way) and replaced it with one of the curtains that made up the enclosure in my old apartment. It looks better and is more functional in my opinion lol. I did the same thing with my kitchen (no bigger but has bigger appliances including a bigger stove and fridge). My living room is huge by comparison and I have all of my electronic stuff hanging out on a metal shelving set that I have turned into an entertainment center complete with XBOX 360, PS2, DVD player, VCR, and stereo surround sound.I almost don't have enough room for all of my dvd's and I have my manga on it as well.
Well, my apartment is bigger and better. My little car is doing amazingly. It's evening out between 30 and 35 mpg on average. I fill up a little less than once a week and I fill up at around 300-350 miles per tank since my little 11.1 gal. tank still goes quickly enough. I'm starting to notice a bunch of imitators around me who think that they can own the awesomness of RUBIO but they won't win, even the ones who have the bright red edition. I have such plans for that little car. I want to put black and chrome rims on it to replace the old steel wheel with silver hubcaps. I want to install a cold air intake to give me some better gas mileage and a little more strength. Then install a security system and a better stereo system to complete it. I love the car as is, but I want to play with it like any good little boy with his toy. I don't think I could spend a better $188.12 a month for a car though.
I just graduated this weekend. I am officially an ITT Technical Institute graduate with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Computer Drafting and Design.... and yes, I was looking at my degree when I was typing that out. lol. It was a tiny ceremony but i'm not complaining, things went by quickly and I was out and having dinner with my parents, best friend, and girlfriend. Mom and Dad took me to The Journey, a seafood buffet and sushi bar that is totally awesomness on a stick. Although I'm finally done with the college thing (for a month or two anyhow) I don't feel any different. I feel the same as before, even though I succeeded in graduating with honors from a two year commitment. I guess that's how it goes, and now I'm getting ready to start searching for a job in my field so I can make a little more money and avoid spending said money on more schooling. I've decided that if I can find a good full time job, enough to more than support myself and to get a good set of experience, then I will take it and be done with school, at least for now. I'm still applying and registering for classes at Ivy Tech Indianapolis until I do find a job, regardless, because I know that the job market isn't exactly flourishing at the moment.
Well, in other things, my girlfriend, Nicole, and I are doing great. I don't know what's going to happen or how things will work out, but Nicole is looking at the possibility of moving to Kentucky and going to U.K. for her research schooling. If that happens, then I plan on moving with her. I don't know when that will all happen if it does, but I want to take our relationship further. We've been together for almost 2 1/2 years and I want to see if we can live together before we commit to anything more.
Other news. One of my good friends is back from Colorado for the summer (you know who you are Jess) and we've tried to hang out but it's not working out the greatest lol. Another of my best friends was sent to the hospital because she got horrible sunburn and fainted because of it. She's doing better now, and I would hope that she remembers sunscreen before going out on a lake all day jet skiing. I'm trying to get in touch with old friends like Tracie, Brandy, Abby, Jenn, and others that I can't think of at the moment since I'm about gone with lack of sleep. I've heard alot of new things from those old friends and it makes me feel old. Lol.
Well, on that note, my bones are tired and I want to finally get some rest so I won't be asleep until 2:30 tomorrow afternoon like I was today lol. Good night, God bless, love ya.
